Being writerly without writing

Wow!  The last few weeks have been busy and great fun!

I was privileged to sign at Cover to Cover in Natchez during the Fall Pilgrimage.  I got to hang out with my daughter, tour a few antebellum houses and enjoy the gracious hosting of Cover to Cover owners,  Charles and Rosemary Hall.  If you're in Natchez, drop in and say hello!  They've also got a few of my signed books on their shelves, so pick up one while you're there!

Then on to Baton Rouge for the Louisiana Book Festival.  Many kudos for putting on such a great event, even while recovering from Hurricanes Gustave and Ike.  The panel I spoke on, with authors Jennifer Blake and Robin Wells, was a blast.  The Louisiana Book Festival will definitely be a yearly event for me now.

Then I was chair for NOLA STARs first ever Writing 101 Workshop.  NOLA STARs, my local RWA chapter hosted this workshop free for the community and it was well attended.  Great time had by all!

And I've been working on a website that I'm really proud of, HSReaders.com  Click the link and check it out!  HSReaders.com is a website for fans of Harlequin and Silhouette romances.

So, you ask, when have you found time to write?

I haven't.  Nope.  I've been calling myself a writer, doing all kinds of writerly things but not getting any words on paper.  That's about to change.  I am now gluing my butt to the chair and rubberbanding my fingers to my keyboard.  The weather is beautiful, so wish me luck!
